About the Artist
I consider my self an inventor who has realized his ideas via the Artist path.
I graduated from UT Austin with a BFA and have since contributed to the art field of Extractionism - the recognition of a resemblance and its subsequent extraction and presentation.
Artist Statement
The theme of my work is recognizing resemblances and then pointing them out to others. Think clouds, inkblots and wood grain. Resemblances live when given attention, try it yourself for another dimension. My greatest discovery is the Old Man in the Peanut, aka Sage of the Leguminati who has taken me on a journey of discovery into this world of resemblances and it's remarkable denizens.
