About the Artist
At Creative Action we spark and support the academic, social, and emotional well boing of young people through the arts.
Artist Statement
We will be creating a drive by tour experience to unveil three of our upcoming murals, in collaboration with our teen program,Color Squad. Our first mural will be the final two walls of our Barton Spring and Lamar mural, the 2nd will be on our building in Springdale General, and the final will be on the Native. Each piece will have an additional storytelling element (podcast, radio piece, etc.) to be enjoyed while viewing. The mural at Barton Springs for example, included quotes and silhouettes from local and historically significant members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and the accompanying audio piece will explore their lives and stories.
