About the Artist
Cynthia Pierce was born and raised in the state of Texas and has been involved in regional "Texana" for fifty years. Her interest spread to the streets of Central America through Texas where she finds inspiration and experients with clay and paint.
Artist Statement
I just make things, and the studio becomes a playground where each bowl and painting stands complete within itself. I play with porcelain in search of the perfect bowl. My Texas roots have pulled me into scenes of cattle, dirt, catus and leaves. Color is the major focus in both clay and canvas.
