I am a fine art photographer and owner of the Austin-based studio Slow Fuse Photography. My work focuses on urban and landscape photography from Austin and West Texas. I like to search for compositions that offer escapism while including local settings and beautiful Texas skies. By making the most of the visual drama at golden hour, I am able to capture moments of unique color and character in rural and urban landscapes.
Originally from England, now living in Austin, Texas, I've always been drawn to warm light and color. My signature palette is motivated by the calming glow of sunrise and sunset. As a Ph.D. in biophysics, I love experimenting. To me, photography is the ultimate experiment in light and color. I hope you enjoy the results.
My portfolio is captured using a Nikon full frame high resolution D-SLR and a full range of Nikon FX-format prime and zoom lenses. I use Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop to develop my images and recreate the full light spectrum of the scene as it was when I captured it.
