About the Artist

Better known in Austin as Juan Lo but born named DaJuan Love Owens, on January 9th, 1986 in Detroit Mi.

Artist Statement

My personal artwork reflects my identity well, which I would say is "black, fatherless, and fluid". My art is purely an expression of my emotions, not much else.

I recently converted my house into a artist studio, welcoming many of my artist friends to connect, create, and to be inspired along with me. This has taken my miserable year of 2020, and turned it into a dream.

I named my studio " The Factory Yard", an ode to Andy Warhol.

This will be a group showing.
