About the Artist

I am a Maine born artist who moved to Texas over 25 years ago. My primary focus is assemblage, the art of taking objects and transforming them into art. While an artist all my life, I made the leap to full-time artist back in 2011, and having been doing it ever since. My art has been shown in such varied locales as Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, and even Viareggio, Italy. This will be the tenth year that I participate in the tour and look forward to sharing my creations with you all.

Artist Statement

I primarily work in the medium known as assemblage, an art form created from found and discarded objects. My eyes are always open for art possibilities in the discarded: broken household appliances, rusty metal, forgotten plastic toys. By combining, rearranging and altering these objects, they come to life with their own unique personalities.
