About the Artist

Melih Aydincik tries to pull the art out of the natural flow of life, thinking photography finds meaning when it stays as a part of reality. He transforms the streets, people, places into subjects using light and combines it with aesthetics to create the visual message he wants to give. He chases after candid frames and becomes an invisible observer for his artistic production.

Melih Aydıncık was born in Istanbul in 1988. He graduated from Bahçeşehir University Marketing Department in 2009 and from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration in 2011. During his university education, he received various certificates related to photography and actively worked as a photographer. He participated in several group exhibitions in Ismek between 2014 and 2015. In 2017, he was featured in the Youth Activity 7 exhibition organized by the International Association of Plastic Arts in Istanbul. Outside of his personal photography projects, he did photo shoots for magazines such as Instyle, Instyle Home, Marie Clarie, Marie Clarie Maison. His works were exhibited at the Art for the People Gallery / 3Ps exhibition in 2017 and Let's Take A Walk exhibition in 2018.
