Crit Group 2020 Group Exhibition features work by eight artists who completed The Contemporary Austin's program that combines group critique with professional development to support the holistic artistic practice of local artists.
Artist Statement
During a challenging year, the Crit Group program aspired to build a supportive community of Austin artists and to sustain and strengthen their practices with input from each other and established professionals in the field. The culminating exhibition is on view at grayDUCK Gallery November 14 through December 13, 2020, free and open to the public by appointment. Dynamic and relevant, it features new work in diverse media by these eight talented Austin-based artists: Annie Arnold, Rakhee Jain Desai, Lydia Garcia, Sean Ripple, Alexandra Robinson, Saul Jerome E. San Juan, Michael Stephen and Cheyenne Weaver.
